The Mississippi Legislative Black Caucus is dedicated to advancing and, when necessary, defeating legislation impacting Mississippi’s African American population. Consisting of the Mississippi Senate and House of Representatives members, MLBC endeavors to be the strong and collective voice of Mississippi’s 1.3 million African Americans.

Challenge:

One of Mississippi’s longest-serving voices for African Americans in the state, the Mississippi Legislative Black Caucus realized the need to ensure its relevance and sustainability in the 21st century. They reached out to us to build a responsive website that would appeal to their long-standing and newest constituents and allow for the streamlining of communication on complex policy and advocacy-related issues.

Solution:

We worked with a select group of members within the Caucus to encapsulate the strategic messaging and visual direction necessary to accomplish the organization’s overarching goals. As a result, through their new, fully-responsive SEO-optimized website, the Caucus has been able to tell its story and engage stakeholders more efficiently than ever.
